The Peter Neilson Trophy

The Peter Neilson Trophy will be determined by calculating a persons Age Graded Performance for the club races as defined below. A persons final score will be an average of their 4 best age graded performances from the 6 race categories.

Race 1 = The club 8 mile championship (Windsor Park MABAC)
Race 2 = A summer 5 mile handicap race (performance will be based upon a persons best time for the year)
Race 3 = The club 10K championship (actual race to be determined)
Race 4 = The club 10 mile championship (Cabbage Patch 10)
Race 5 = A MABAC – only one of the (approximately) 5 mile cross country races (performance will be calculated on the assumption that each race is exactly 5 miles in length and will be based upon a persons best time for the year)
Race 6 = A winter 5k series race (performance will be calculated for races that take place within the calendar year, i.e. races will span 2 winter series, and will be based upon a persons best time for the year)
