This is a 5 mile Cross Country Event – Part of the MABAC Running League, the senior race is just over 8 km (5 miles) there are also joggers’ and junior events of about 4 km (2.5 miles). The league is open ONLY to Members and Guests.
The start is next to the Sparrow Farm Road car park on the London Road, runners are not supposed to use this car park, but park in the surrounding streets (Chadache Road) for instance.
The route is mainly off road with a very short section of tarmac. Trail or Road shoes are recommended depending on ground conditions. It may be muddy in places with tree roots & cracks in the ground
