19/12/2020 - Covid Update

Following national guidance updates:
All club training informal and formal from the end of today (19th December 2020) will pause until further notice. and you must follow all government guidelines.
The UK Government has confirmed that individuals can exercise with one other person either from their own household OR outside their household. This is limited to one occasion per day and the individual should not travel outside of their local area.
Virtual events will carry on but only running alone, or with members of your family or one other runner.
Dear Members,
Following the most recent government COVID guidelines, we are extending the opportunity for members taking part in our virtual Windsor MABAC Club Championships to run any 8 mile route you choose within your local area.
Your entry must be an outdoor run, as oppose to a treadmill entry, and must be ran during the two week window starting this Friday 15th January and ending on Friday 29th January 2021.
For those of you local enough to the park to still run the official race route, all you need to do is ensure that you start and finish your run on the Blacknest bridge - follow the traditional route, with the exception of the new path on Smiths Lawn which should be followed to the left as you reach the top of Breakheart hill.
This route can be found via the Strava segment named “Windsor MABAC - RR Virtual Club Championships 2020” -
You can send your GPS evidence using the official time for the Strava race segment.
For those unable to run the race route, any other official GPS tracking evidence of an 8 mile distance in your local area is acceptable.
Please remember to include your DOB with your submission and send to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
